Getting to the Cup

By Air From Your Own Lawn, or Chauffeured Door to Door

The estate sits just off the motorway network — roughly 90 minutes by road to Adare Manor, with chauffeured minibus or car transfers running to and from the course every day of practice and play, on your schedule.

Faster still: charter helicopters can land on the estate itself, making Adare a short hop over the traffic rather than a drive through it. We connect you with the charter operator and build the flying schedule around each day’s play.

Run Privately, Staffed Fully

Everything Arranged, Nothing Shared

Built into your proposal on request — priced once, invoiced once.

Private chef, all week

A chef cooking in the house for your group every day — breakfasts before the course, dinner when you return. Menus agreed in advance, dietary needs handled quietly.

Helicopter access

The estate has space for charter helicopters to land on site — Adare is a short hop. We connect you with the charter operator; timings built around each day’s play.

Daily chauffeured transfers

Driven transfers to and from Adare Manor each day of practice and play — minibus or cars, on your schedule, nobody counting drinks.

The village pub, privately

A bought-out night in the local — arguably the best pint of Guinness in the county — with a trad session in the corner. The Ireland your guests came for, with nobody else in it.

Private entertainment

Whiskey tasting, cocktail making, a murder-mystery night, live music, a DJ — an evening programme built for your group and run in your own house.

Corporate-ready

Meeting and presentation space, fast wifi, discreet branding where you want it, a single invoice, and privacy throughout — the estate hosts one client and speaks to nobody else.

Golf All Week

Play Your Own Ryder Cup Between Sessions

The matches run Friday to Sunday — the week is longer than that, and your guests are golfers. Five parkland courses sit within about 45 minutes of the estate. We arrange the tee times; your group brings the needle.

Ballinasloe Golf Club

Founded 1894 — a mature parkland course, playable year-round

~15 min

Loughrea Golf Club

Par 71 — one of the region’s best parkland courses

~20 min

Portumna Golf Club

Parkland alongside Portumna Forest Park

~30 min

Athenry Golf Club

Established parkland with a well-regarded clubhouse

~30 min

Galway Bay Golf Resort

Drive times are approximate from the estate gates.

The Shape of the Week

Monday to Monday, Built Around the Matches

Mon 13 Sept

Arrivals — by road or by air onto the estate. The house is staffed, the fires are lit, dinner is cooked. Settle in.

Tue – Thu

Practice days at Adare — chauffeured transfers there and back. Morning fourballs at a local course for those not travelling. Long dinners at home.

Fri 17 Sept

Day one of the matches. Early breakfast from your chef, transfers to the course, home to a private bar and a debrief by the fire.

Sat 18 Sept

Day two. Same again — with the village pub bought out for the night and a trad session waiting, if you’ve booked it.

Sun 19 Sept

Singles Sunday. The Cup is decided; your group watches it happen, then celebrates (or commiserates) somewhere nobody is watching them.

Mon 20 Sept

Late breakfast, unhurried departures. One invoice, already agreed.

A sketch, not a schedule — the week is built around your group, and days either side are yours to add.

“The most beautiful, welcoming place we've ever stayed”

We had the BEST weekend at Ballinderry House! Rowan and Joel went above and beyond — Joel actually created a full murder mystery party for us, complete with characters, clues, and a completely decked-out main house. It was so thoughtful and creative, and we had an absolute blast.

From the whimsical artwork to the ample gardens, Ballinderry Park was a treat through and through. Upon our arrival, Rowan started a fire in both outdoor and indoor fireplaces and invited us to use all of the amenities of this lovely B and B.

We had a fantastic weekend. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The food was outstanding — the ratatouille on the first night and the roast dinner the next day were both delicious. The views were breathtaking.

We booked Ballinderry Coach House for a friend's birthday. When we arrived the accommodation was clean, warm and very comfortable. The host Ro and his family were very welcoming and accommodating.

I stayed here for a weekend with friends for a board game event. It was an incredible venue for it. Many rooms, and big tables, and we were kept warm and cosy throughout. The facilities were perfect.

This is a great spot. The house and grounds are beautiful, we were given really nice home cooked food. The common spaces were large enough for a group, comfortable and warm due to the log burning stove.

I stayed here for a stag do with a group of lads. The hosts provided dinners on Friday and Saturday and a fully stocked kitchen. It is a fantastic old manor house but is modernized with all mod cons and the grounds are beautiful.

Absolutely gorgeous venue with great facilities, our hosts for the weekend were extremely nice (and cooked dinner for 18 people, twice!), had a wonderful time and would definitely come again and wholeheartedly recommend.

FAQ

Ryder Cup 2027 — Your Questions

Where can a large group stay for the Ryder Cup 2027?
Ballinderry Park is a private 41-acre Georgian estate in the west of Ireland available as Ryder Cup 2027 accommodation for one group — up to 50 guests across the Manor House, Coach House and glamping village, roughly 90 minutes by road from Adare Manor and a short helicopter hop. The estate is hired exclusively for the full Cup week: one group, every bedroom, the grounds, staff, and a private chef — no other guests on site.
When and where is the Ryder Cup 2027?
The 44th Ryder Cup — marking 100 years of the event — is played at Adare Manor, County Limerick, Ireland. Cup week runs 13–19 September 2027, with practice days Monday to Thursday and the matches themselves from 17–19 September. Europe host the USA.
How far is the estate from Adare Manor?
Roughly 90 minutes door to door by road via the motorway, with chauffeured transfers available every day of practice and play. By charter helicopter — which can land on the estate — the transfer is a short hop. Shannon Airport, the closest international airport to Adare Manor, is about an hour from the estate.
Where to stay for the Ryder Cup 2027 if hotels near Adare Manor are booked out?
Hotels near Adare Manor and across Limerick are expected to sell out long before September 2027, and ordinary rentals near the course are already listed at tens of thousands for the week. For large groups, the practical answer is a private estate within transfer range: the whole party stays under one roof, transfers are chauffeured (or flown) daily, and nothing depends on scattered hotel availability.
How many people can stay?
Up to 50 guests: 16 in the Manor House across 7 bedrooms, 12 in the Coach House across 4 ensuite bedrooms, and 22 across the glamping village — including extra bell tents pitched on request to bring the estate to its full 50. The estate is only ever let to one group at a time, and if some of your party would prefer not to glamp — or you are bringing more than fifty — we can organise additional accommodation locally.
How much does it cost?
Cup-week hire is priced on application — tell us who is coming and what you want the week to look like, and we will put a single, fully itemised proposal in front of you. For context, ordinary three-bedroom houses near Adare are already listed at €27,000–€45,000 for the week; this is an entire staffed estate.
Can a helicopter really land at the estate?
Yes — the estate has space for charter helicopters to land on site, and we will connect you with a charter operator for the week. Flight timings are built around each day’s play at Adare.
Is catering included?
The house comes staffed, and a private chef for the full week is available as part of your proposal — breakfasts before the course, dinner when you return, menus agreed in advance. Bar packages, a stocked cellar and evening entertainment can all be added.
What is there to do on non-match days?
Golf, mostly — five parkland courses sit within about 45 minutes of the estate, including clubs at Ballinasloe, Loughrea and Portumna, and we arrange tee times for your group. On the estate itself: whiskey tastings, cocktail making, a murder-mystery night, the hot tub, and 41 acres to walk.
Can we hold the week while we decide?
Enquire and we will talk you through it — Cup week is a single booking for the whole estate, so it will be held for one group and released to the next serious enquiry if unconfirmed. The full week is the standard hire, and you can add days either side — arrive early to settle in, or stay on after the singles. The earlier the conversation starts, the more of the week is shaped around you.
Can this work as corporate hospitality?
That is exactly what it is built for: one company hosting clients or a leadership group for the week, with meeting space, fast wifi, discreet branding, privacy throughout, and a single invoice. Your guests stay in a Georgian manor, not a hotel block.

One Group Only

Start the Conversation

Cup week is a single booking: one client takes the whole estate, and it is priced on application — the full week as standard, with days either side available if you want to arrive early or wind down after the singles. Tell us who is coming and what you want the week to be, and we will put one fully itemised proposal in front of you — accommodation, chef, transfers, helicopter, entertainment, the lot.
