You arrive from three, drop your bags in a Georgian bedroom and walk the estate while the light goes. Then the first session: by the time the gong goes for dinner you have Claude Code installed, an agent running on your own machine, and the first thing you have ever automated. Dinner is three courses at the long table with twenty-odd people who came for the same reason. After it, one short session with the lights low: the map of the year. What matters, what is noise, and why.

Build day. All of it.
This is the day you came for. Breakfast, then the briefs go on the wall: the thing in your work that eats a day a week, scoped hard in an hour. Then you build. Claude Code writes the code, you direct it; agents, your own data plugged in, a real interface people can click. The tutors circulate all day and support staff sit in the room, so nobody stays stuck for more than a few minutes. Lunch is eaten fast. By dinner there is something on your screen that did not exist that morning. After dinner, a loose round of where everybody got to, then the hot tub under a sky with no light pollution.

The morning is the last mile: finish it, deploy it, make it something you would happily show your boss. After lunch, demo day. Every project, live, to the room, and it is the best hour of the week because everyone in it watched everyone else build. Then the 90-day roadmap: you write it, a peer tears it apart, it comes out better. And then the night off. The biggest dinner of the three, a roast carved at the table, and the party in the Coach House with music, drinks and a bar that has no last orders. You have met twenty-odd people who build with the same tools you now do. This is where you swap numbers.

Rule of thumb: fewer than 10 people, book seats or a team block. 10 or more, a private cohort is cheaper per head, easier to run, and the date is yours.

20% deposit holds a seat, balance in instalments. Pay in full and take 5% off.

Seventeen people, two nights, one estate
A technology team took the whole of Ballinderry Park for two nights in early September: the Stables as their boardroom, the Library for breakouts, a chef in the kitchen and every bed in the Manor and Coach House. It is the closest thing to a private cohort already delivered, and the shape every private cohort follows.

Terms, in plain words
What we promise, and what we ask
- Deposit
- 20% to hold a seat, balance in instalments before the cohort. Paying in full gets 5% off.
- If a date does not run
- If a date does not run, every deposit is refunded in full, no questions.
- Changing your mind
- Free transfer to the next cohort up to 30 days out. Inside 30 days the deposit is kept, the balance is not charged.
- The guarantee
- You leave with something shipped, or we refund your seat.
- Companies
- VAT invoice with your purchase-order number on every document. Private cohorts pay on account: 50% on booking, 50% thirty days before.
- Capacity
- 24 seats on published cohorts, two to a twin across the Manor and Coach House. Glamping only for private summer cohorts.
Questions
Asked before you ask
Do I need to know how to code?
No. The cohort is built for owners, managers and professionals as much as developers. If you can describe what you want, you can build it here; the tutors and the support staff exist so that nobody stays stuck.
What will I actually build?
Something useful to you. Before the cohort we ask what you want to build, so Wednesday starts on your own brief: a tool, an automation, an internal app, a workflow. On Thursday you demo it to the room.
What if the date does not run?
If a date does not run, every deposit is refunded in full, no questions. A cohort runs at 8 seats; you see "confirmed to run" on the date the moment it does.
What is the early-bird price?
€2,950 a seat for the first 6 seats on a cohort, or any seat booked 60 days or more before it starts. Then €3,450 until three weeks out, and €3,950 in the final three weeks. The first cohort is founding-priced on every seat.
We are a company. Seats or a private cohort?
Fewer than 10 people: book seats, and from 3 the team-block discount applies. 10 or more: a private cohort is cheaper per head, easier to run, and you choose the date.
Where do we sleep and eat?
On the estate. Bedrooms in the Manor House and Coach House, shared twin included, private ensuite or a Manor suite as an upgrade. Every meal is cooked in the house and eaten together.
How do we get there?
Ballinderry Park is near Ballinasloe in County Galway: 30 minutes from Galway, 1 hour 45 from Dublin Airport, 8 minutes from Woodlawn station. Transfers on request.
Can I come back?
Yes. An alumni return seat is €1,950 flat on any published cohort.
